Climate Data Sonification – Insert Boiling Frog Analogy Here

Daniel Crawford of the University of Minnesota has created a piece which maps over a hundred years of temperature records to a piece for string quartet. The piece breaks the global temperature data into 4 regions and maps the average annual temperature for each region to the musical notes. This is a beautiful piece of data sonification which we love here at audiograins!
